Manager, Market Engagement Lead - Community Impact & Investment (National & Greater Washington DC)
About the role
Capital One's Community Impact and Investment team, part of Global Enterprise Affairs, puts the bank's grants, volunteers and lending to work for stronger communities. This DC-area manager turns research on national and Mid-Atlantic community needs into investment strategies and partnerships that advance economic mobility.
What you'll do
- Run market research and scans to find and build partnerships with community groups, social enterprises and public-private institutions nationally and around Greater Washington.
- Build relationships with senior internal and external leaders to scale solutions for economic mobility.
- Write executive briefings and presentations that bring market insights to business and enterprise leaders.
- Lead the design of investment proposals and manage a portfolio of national and regional grant partners.
- Set impact metrics and reporting, and oversee risk and compliance for the program.
What they're looking for
- 7+ years in project or program management, strategy or transformation work.
- 5+ years leading CSR, community impact or public affairs efforts.
- Comfort using data to diagnose problems and measure program results.
- Strong relationship-building and storytelling skills; PMP, Lean or Agile certification is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree or military experience; up to 30% travel.
