About the role
OpenAI's Community team is building a network of local partners who help small businesses, nonprofits and community groups get real value from AI tools. This program manager will take that early-stage partner program and turn it into a dependable, scalable operation.

What you'll do

• Design the full partner lifecycle, from finding and selecting partners to onboarding, support, renewal and offboarding.
• Work with Legal, Finance and Procurement to get partners contracted, set up as vendors and paid.
• Plan and support local workshops and events alongside partners, covering budgets, venues and follow-up.
• Coordinate partner marketing and communications, including guidance, approvals and sharing success stories.
• Build playbooks, knowledge bases and review processes, and work with analytics teams to measure community impact.

What they're looking for

• 8+ years running a complex partner, community or operations program from design through scale.
• Strong operational follow-through across contracts, payments, events and many stakeholders.
• Ability to build trust with small-business owners and community leaders and explain technology plainly.
• Hands-on familiarity with ChatGPT and AI-powered workflows.
• Experience with nonprofit, ambassador or distributed partner programs is a plus.

Details: Hybrid (New York, NY or San Francisco, CA) · Full time · Salary: $207,000 - $230,000 per year plus equity
