About the role
PeoplesBank, a mutual bank serving Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut, is hiring a community-facing member of its Corporate Responsibility team in Hartford. The role connects the bank with local nonprofits, towns, schools and business leaders and runs regional giving, volunteering and financial education work.

What you'll do

• Build relationships with nonprofits, municipalities, schools, chambers and local officials across the region.
• Manage the regional grants and sponsorship budget and help run volunteer and community investment programs.
• Organize community events and represent the bank at civic and nonprofit functions.
• Deliver financial literacy and wellness programs and track participation and results.
• Document community development activity and support Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) reporting.

What they're looking for

• Experience working with nonprofits, local governments and civic groups.
• Background presenting or facilitating financial literacy, workforce or community education programs.
• Strong relationship-building and organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in community development, nonprofit management, finance or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.

Details: On-site in Hartford, CT · Full time · Salary: $65,000 - $68,000 per year
